If you are interested in joining the Shawnee, please e-mail Chief John
“Itchy Dog” Fabris or Greeter Chuck “Greywolf” Finazzo.

YMCA MEMBERSHIP
To become Shawnee tribe members, you must become members of the YMCA. Membership
fees for 2009-2010 are $90 per family, plus an additional $60 program fee for each family
member who joins the Y-Princess program.
(Example: $90 for the family + $60 for dad + $60 for daughter = $210 total YMCA costs.)
The YMCA fees fund the Y staff and insurance for our programs. Your family
membership also entitles your family to enroll in other YMCA has other programs, such as
sports and Y-Guides. The YMCA accepts payment and registration through it's web site.
If you register by Aug. 1, the $60 program fee will be reduced to a $50 early-bird rate.
(After the Oct. 1 deadline, this fee will rise to $75.)

The YMCA Web site can be a challenge to navigate, so click here for helpful step-by-step
instructions prepared by Shawnee Greeter Chuck "Greywolf" Finazzo. If you need
additional help signing up, please contact Stephen Santiago or Diane Webb at the YMCA:
949-642-9990. Direct line to Stephen: 949-722-3821 and direct line to Diane: 949-722-3820.

SHAWNEE MEMBERSHIP
Additional OBN Nation fees and Shawnee tribe fees totaling about $110 will be due to the
Shawnee once the season starts. Details to come. There also are charges for some events,
such as campouts.

We are spelling out the fees here because some dads in the past have been frustrated and
confused by the series of charges. But Shawnee veterans will tell you this: Once the year gets
going, it feels like a bargain. We get a lot of adventure for the money. And the experiences
with our daughters are priceless.
